Philly Cheese Steak

Our carne asada is marinated to perfection making it a perfect addition to any recipe. Aside from being a great taco filling you can substitute our vegan asada anywhere that calls for beef.

One of our favorite recipes is our take on a Philly Cheesesteak. You can substitute jalapeños for green bell peppers to add spice.

Ingredients

- 1 pack of La Venganza vegan carne asada
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 onions (thin slices)
- 3 jalapeños (deseeded and deveined and sliced into thin strips)
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- salt & pepper (to taste)
- Follow your heart "American" slices

(makes 4 cheesesteaks)

Directions
In a heavy bottom pan, heat tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and add the asada sauteeing till browned.

Add onions, garlic and jalapenos halfway and cook till onions are transluscent , salt and pepper to taste

Layer slices of cheese on top add two tablespoons of water to pan, and cover to melt cheese.

If you want to be ‘extra’ you can use torta bread and layering a small amount of refried beans on the bottom!
